It has just been announced by Dr Katherine Zappone T.D., the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs, the dates for the Early Years and School Age Capital Childcare Programme 2018. The Department has also published guidelines for applicants to help them complete the process quickly and successfully. The guidelines explain the makeup of the funding streams and instructions on how to apply.

 

Important Dates

 

You can begin making applications on Monday, February the 12th and run for approximately four weeks till Friday, March the 9th.

You will be access to more information via the Pobal Programmes Implementation Programme also known as PIP. If you are considering an application the Department is encouraging applicants to get in touch with their local Childcare Committee (CCC). 

You can find your local Childcare Committee here. 

In a change this year, applicants will make their applications through an online form on PIP.

  • Application Guidelines Released 31st January 2018
  • Application Dates Open 12th February 2018
  • Closing Date for Applications 9th March 2018
  • Appraisals March-April 2018
  • Decisions May 2018
  • Notifications of Outcomes Issued by end of May 2018
