Empower children with the skills to investigate, measure and compare. Using this set, children will need to determine which will be the most appropriate scale and dial to use. The dials are simple to change and are dry-wipe. The measuring pan is easily removable so it can be washed and stored separately. Each scale comes with seven different dials, progressing from unnumbered divisions at halves, to those at quarters, fifths or tenths; with amounts shown as grams (g) and kilograms (kg). This means that all stages of development in reading scales from Year 2 to Year 6 are covered, including reading numbered divisions, half-divisions, between two unnumbered divisions, and comparing readings on different scales.
